The KnoxHMIS is helping our community plan and implement the Knoxville Area Homeless Management Information System (HMIS).

KnoxHMIS is sponsored by the City of Knoxville, the East Tennessee Coalition to End Homelessness , Knox County, Comcast, the University of Tennessee and administered by UT College of Social Work Office of Research and Public Service (SWORPS).

This portion of our website is designed to provide communities with news about the HMIS implementation and to provide tools and strategies that can be used by in local implementation efforts. Please let us know if you have announcements or additional information that you would like to see here.

Point-in-Time Count Surveys

Participating agencies/individuals should please fill out the following surveys and send to Michael Dunthorn immediately following the point-in-time count on January 30, 2007. The "Priorities" document can be filled out by anyone who serves the homeless, and the "Survey" document is intended for agencies that have beds.
